Role description
As a Technical Service Engineer, you will provide expert-level remote troubleshooting and parameterization support to injection molding machine operators. You'll work in tandem with AI agents, stepping in for advanced problem-solving and decision-making, ensuring that production continues with minimal disruption.
- Support machine operators via remote tools to resolve technical issues 
- Diagnose root causes of alarms, process deviations, or cycle time anomalies 
- Guide operators through parameter adjustments and setup optimization 
- Document support sessions and contribute to knowledge base entries 
- Collaborate with AI product teams to train and refine support agents 
- Ensure fast and effective communication through the multilingual support interface 
- Interface with OEM service teams when escalation is required 
What you bring
- Strong expertise in injection molding processes and machinery (e.g. Engel, Arburg, KraussMaffei, Sumitomo Demag) 
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical service, process engineering, or operator support 
- Solid understanding of hydraulic, electric, and hybrid molding machines 
- Ability to read and analyze parameter sets, cycle logs, and error codes 
- Familiarity with machine interfaces and remote access tools (HMIs, PLC, OPC-UA, VNC, etc.) 
- Clear and structured communication style with operators and internal teams
